At Siggesta Gård, we cultivate more than just vegetables—we nurture sustainability, community, and truly delicious food. In our Kitchen Garden and Herb Garden, vegetables, herbs, and flowers flourish, making their way directly onto the plates in our restaurants.
We practice sustainable farming without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, enriching the soil with natural nutrients like horse manure, alpaca manure, and ash. Last year, from our 1,500 square meter Kitchen Garden, complete with greenhouses, open fields, and compost areas, we harvested 964 kg of vegetables, all of which were served in our restaurants.
By reducing transportation and increasing our vegetarian offerings, we care for both the environment and our guests. The garden also serves as an integration project, where Bereket from Eritrea contributes his knowledge and experience.
